Operational Technology (OT) Security Consultant 2024 Key Responsibilities

Conduct OT vulnerability assessments to identify security vulnerabilities in industrial control systems and critical infrastructure.
Perform vulnerability assessments of OT systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Conduct penetration testing to discover vulnerabilities and assess system resilience.
Develop and implement security strategies to mitigate risk in OT environments.
Work with cross-functional teams to provide security recommendations and incident response strategies.
Advise and guide customers to improve their OT security posture.
Stay up to date on the latest trends, threats and technologies in OT security.

Operational Technology (OT) Security Consultant 2024 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
1+ years of experience in OT security including gap analysis, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
Strong knowledge of OT systems, ICS/SCADA networks, and industrial protocols (e.g. Modbus, DNP3, OPC).
Experience assessing and mitigating risk in critical infrastructure sectors (e.g. Energy, Manufacturing, Utilities).
Relevant certifications (e.g. GICSP, GRID, CEH, OSCP) highly desirable.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-solving mentality and ability to work under pressure.
